Adaptive Cruise Control module failure
The really weird thing is the lane departure works great. I just can't get my truck to pickup vehicles and the precollision assist fault in on. The dealerships said they won't even try to calibrate because the only correction is to return to stock configuration because I have 35's and level. Ford pretty much told I'm screwed, even thought I bought it from the dealership like that (used less than 7k on it). It was successfully calibrated once and now the fault is back. I tried twice last night to calibrate but it would make it past 2% while using forscan. Any ideas, material, or help would be appreciated. I've thought about ordering a new front ccm off of ebay and trying that but I'm not sure about the relearn or programming.
I had this same issue after getting a 6" lift and 37's.
Dealership tried but failed to get it fixed. They couldn't get the ccm to recalibrate and threw the towel in.
I got Forscan and figured it out this morning.
The cause was the CCM automatic alignment offset being out of spec, which didn't let the recalibration process even start. My value was 6.90, I read somewhere that the max allowed was 3, so I manually changed the value to 2.90, then ran the recalibration. I then needed to reboot the ccm module so the truck could "relearn" it, but now all works fine. After the recalibration, my alignment offset was .70 (the truck changed it itself after running the recalibration).
I also changed my tire size and fender height in Forscan. My speedometer is now dead on as well.
Forscan for the win!

Hi, When I change the value to 2.90 and do a CCM recalibration it goes right back to 4.10 in automatic alignment offset. Even if I change to zero it goes right back to 4.10. I not understanding how you're doing the recalibration then doing the CCM reboot. If I do that it's set to 4.10 after recalibration and then do the reboot it will stay at 4.10. Should I set it at zero then do the reboot then do a calibration? My tires are set at 2799 and speed is dead on and change the level of the front end to 1120mm.
I'm going crazy trying to figure this out. I'm ready to trade the truck in and go with a Toyota. I have a 2024 raptor. all I did was level out the front with 2.5 clamps and raise the rear 1/2 inch and put 37 inch tires on.

I previously had went in and set my alignment offset from 3.1 to 2.9 in it cleared my screen of course. Lasted 4000 miles and it came back on. I went ahead and got on foreskin and done it again but this time it came back on after 55 miles.
I am also dealing with a 2024 F150 6 inch lift 37 inch tires
I am regretting leaving Toyota at this point
Please share with me if you have had any luck or any further leads that I can investigate into. Thank you.
have you by chance had any luck?

I had to program my tire size, which wasn't straightforward either. Then, once I had that correct, I wasnt able to calibrate the CCM until I ran across your post. My offset was -6.9. Changed it to 2.0 and then the calibration finally worked. Spent half a day on this FML

Forscan tire size: 2799mm
1. Get the tire size right in Forscan
2. ensure the PCM, TCM, and AWD modules are relearned, no DTCs present except CCM
3. Calibrate CCM
