I've been looking at various brush guards for my new King Ranch. Nowhere can I find details on whether or not it obstructs or hampers the sensors or cameras. I'm guessing its the same for any F150 with the 360 camara package, but I just don't know. Dealer said "check the forums" So here I am. Anyone got one on their late model King Ranch or Platinum? Got pictures? Also considering a winch for the front. Any suggestions?
More than likely every single brush guard will interfere with sensors in the front bumper, you'll just have to find a company that also sells a relocation kit for those sensors. The front camera will be slightly obstructed, but not entirely (also this will vary between brush guards). For example, I have a Steelcraft brush guard and here's a pic of my front camera.
Your other option would be to do a full brush guard bumper, which would also make it easier to install a winch, as I don't think you'd be able to install one behind the factory bumper with a 3.5 but don't quote me on that.
