Father has 1300 miles on his new 2023 F150 Lariat. He uses Apple CarPlay, which i know nothing about. I'm an AA user in my 2021.
Every time he adjusts his climate control the truck says "N-A". (See video) I've tried everything I know how to try.
Dealership is no help. Has anyone even seen this before? Know how to fix it?

No help on why it's saying that, but that screen isn't CarPlay. That' just the standard Sync "Settings" menu on the left and the standard Sync "Phone" card on the right. Has nothing to do with CarPlay.

 

Which was? You listed the problem but none of the steps you already tried to troubleshoot.

Does it do it if his phone is not connected to the truck/turned off? If not, you are probably looking at a setting he has set on his iPhone that needs to be addressed, or a combination of a setting on the iPhone and a bug with Sync 4. Does he have the phone set to announce callers, or any assistive functions turned on on the iPhone?
