Does anyone know if the 2.7 EcoBoost offered in the new 2019 Edge ST is the same 2.7EB that is in the F-150? I am looking at this Edge model to replace my 2018 Escape 1.5L EB that has had the engine replaced already at just 22K miles for coolant leak in the cylinders. I am finding this to be a common problem with the 1.5L in the Escapes (as well as the previous 1.6). Has the 2.7 had any major issues like this that would lead one to avoid this engine? My '05 F-150 with 219K miles is getting pretty tired as well and will have to be replaced with a new F-150 next year. I'm hoping they still have a V8 for that next year.
