Default 2014 f150 fx4 getting 10mpg highway

So I just bought my first f150 last week. It has 6in lift, 35x12.5 tires and 100k miles. I've been averaging 10mpg on the highway going about 75 with a light foot and city 12.5 with avg speed of 45 and very few stops, not really a city. I know I'm not gonna get good mpg but I thought it should be a little better than this. Is this normal and if not what could be the problem?

Sounds normal to me for the speed, tires, miles and lift!

No doubt. I have the 3.5l with twin turbos. Thats a 6 cylinder truck without the lift or tires and only have 28,000 miles on mine. I have NEVER and I mean NEVER seen even 14 mpg average on any road anytime anywhere highway/city/back roads/front roads, cruise control on, low grade/mid grade/Premium Grade or any kind of additive. Now the new vehicle window sticker that I am looking at and saved says average is 15-21 mpg. So how many of you have bought something with the expectation that you would get what the manufacturer advertised and put in writing? How many of you compare items or services and make decisions based upon what the manufacturer tells you that their product will do? If you buy a gallon of gas do you expect to get 8/10th of a gallon or how about 9/10th's of a gallon and 1/10th water.

You just answered your own question. Everything is normal, this is a truck that is 6'' higher than what it was engineered for with tires probably 20 to 30lbs heavier each than the OEM ones.

Try slowing down a little, you'll notice a better MPG. The faster you go, the higher the wind resistance.

not sure what type of engine you have, or gear ratio for that matter, but I can tell you that with a 2012 3.5L LB CC with a 4" lift and 110lbs per corner of wheel and tire I only get about 13 in the very slow/short city drive I have and maybe 17.5-18 on the highway, but thats if I'm in the right lane with cruise control on at 65mph. If I'm going 75-80 I'll be lucky to get 14. Its the price we pay for a nice looking lifted setup with wheels/tires. Smiles per gallon bud, thats the only way to look at it.
