Your forced induction tuning

I can understand it being conservative since they do their tunes to work anywhere in the nation on 91 octane. I'm not a fan of their shifting/throttle respone either, but I don't think it's horrible, those are both personal preference areas and it's hard to get something that everyone likes...
I can understand that too, they can't raise it because of the factory driveshaft. I've seen them let go at not much higher than the factory limit, and it's not pretty...

Even if they are, most truck speed limiters are put in place because of driveshaft instability. I've seen stock Ford, GM, and Dodge driveshafts let go at right around 120 MPH which is why one of the first mods I did to my F-150 was an aftermarket driveshaft.

Well talked with Ken and ordered up the BDX and tune. Great guy, customer service and super fast shipping. So far very pleased. Now just waiting on the tune. Extremely excited.

I would say the Speed Limiter is more about the Tire speed rating of 112 mph.
My 2016 cut off at around 104 mph. My 2013 was about the same.
My 2016 regular cab has a one piece aluminum driveshaft. It looks as good or better quality than my Lightning driveshaft. The Lightning had no speed limiter but had W rated tires.
When I say one piece, it has one driveshaft that is technically two pieces since it has slip splines built in to it instead of that being part of the yoke that went into the transmission like the old days. The longer wheel base trucks actually have 2 separate driveshafts.

I used JDM for my Lightning tunes back in the day.
I used OZtuning (Omega) and ID Motorsports for my 2016 Procharger Tunes.
I would recommend any of those.

I used JDM in the first month or so he was selling to the public for my lightning. I remember you from the Lightning forums. I use OZ now.

My 13 RCSB was the same. It was steel too.
I am running an OZ tune right now, also.
ID Motorsports was the only one that could do a Procharger tune (besides Procharger) with the MAP setup that is on the 15+ trucks. Nobody and I mean nobody would touch it but ID in September of 2016. It is a good tune that runs great. Matt Alderman was great to work with.
Ken at OZ tuning was ready build a Procharger tune for the 15+ trucks around February of 2017. Ken Osborne was also great to work with.
These tunes required a lot of data logging and many tweaks to get them right. This is what was so great about working with both of these guys. I would test then send a data log and comments after each revision. They would make the changes rinse and repeat many times. They were such a pleasure to work with. Remember this was new territory since MAF sensors were used before so they had no experience to fall back on for a Forced Induction MAP sensor F150.
I think the OZ tune is a touch more refined and I like how Ken setup the Sport mode. In Regular mode at WOT the shifts are at about 6600 rpm. In Sport Mode the part throttle shifts are a little higher and at WOT the shifts are at 7400 rpm.

Mine is tuned by Chris Holmes out of Forced Motosports in FL. It's tuned on HP Tuners. Chris is very knowledgeable with boosted 5.0's.

Following this for some 3.5L Ecoboost learnings. I am in the market for some tunes but nervous to pull trigger since SCT X4 doesn't have full access to engine and transmission.
But I have heard good things about HP's nGauge from 5 Star Tuning or MPT and some good and some not so good about Bully Dog's BDX (can't remember who was tuner)
