Default 2011-2014 with a 2018 F150 intake manifold

Hello everyone,
Brand new here. Looking to pull some knowledge from the F150 coyote experts. I am installing a 2014 F150 coyote into a 69 bronco. To do the swap I will have to run custom headers / exhaust, a fabricated intake tube / filter and obviously a custom tune. The internals of the 5.0 are bone stock.

My primary question, is it worth it to swap over to a 2018-19 F150 intake manifold. I don't care about top end, so I am asking about the F150 manifold instead of the GT. Has anyone done any dyno runs on their 11-14 trucks with this manifold or written any seat of the pants reviews.

Thanks in advance
Doug

nsdq3, have you found any info on this? I have a 2011 f150 and am also interested in swapping to the 2018 manifold to keep the low and midrange power.

I can't help with your questions but I am curious, would you fill the injector bosses and grind them down, or just plug them somehow? The port fuel injection bosses is what I mean.

Why would you plug the injector holes?

Never mind. For some reason I was thinking 2014 motor was straight DI and you wouldn't have a use for the port injector bosses in the manifold. This was incorrect, yours is currently port fuel injected and the 2018 and up motor has both so it will work. The 2014 is also mass air and as I recall, the intake cams make the shorter runner intakes not as good of a combo at all. You can get off eBay New take-off 2018 F150 intakes for $100 shipped. Then there's the issue of lockouts and the IMRC CMCV setup on the 2018 which if you remove it, might not make it work ideally. Somebody has to have done this swap.
This is interesting but not what you're after.

This might answer your question about 3/4 down this thread. Posted are dyno numbers for a 14 with the GT and truck intake.
