I’m not an expert but allowing tq reduction during each shift will keep the transmission healthy
sounds like you need to get your transmission built before it gets worse and would cost more.

Without a clutch kit and billet intermediate shaft you'll break it eventually. Fortunately those parts AND the price of someone installing it for you is on average like 12-1500 bucks. The parts are 90% of the price. I'd get out ahead of it and put the exedy or mcleod clutches in NOW rather than later. The billet shaft is changed because i've seen that thing snap a bunch of times.

I thought the 6r80 was supposed to be nearly indestructible.....
BadCon……..Is it looking at the logs that makes you say the transmission is slipping, or do you actually feel it?

You can feel it. It hasn't thrown any codes yet, but there is a clear difference in the way it shifts on the 3-4, even in daily driving. I also noted the transmission fluid quality was darker then I'd expect having been changed only 10,000 miles ago. While the 6r80 is certainly tough, insufficient tuning will hasten it's death with a power adder, and 4wd WOT shifts can't be healthy for it either lol. I was hoping it could be "tuned out" before any damage resulted, but it appears I'm a bit late. I'll start budgeting for a rebuild later this year.

3-4 shift flare for me too. almost 25k miles at 700+ rwhp though so I can't be upset about it.

All the shifting wonkiness......maybe some tuning love is needed? I'm going on 400lbs of nitrous (so tons of torque) sprayed right out of the hole, and my trans seems perfectly happy.....Shift flare is usually the result of a parameter being off.
I get that other things can cause it, but having been through probably 2 dozen tune revisions in it's life, I've seen how Ken / Oz deals with this, and it always get's back to being flawless, occasional KAM reset required.
