I officially scheduled my dyno day yesterday for Jan 10th, I'll be testing the latest from SSI, MPT and LET to see what kind of number we can put down with where I'm at mods wise now. Maybe blow a hole in the block, who knows....lol
I'm really interested to see what your truck puts down. How are those 56s treating you?

I'm digging them so far, I think by the time fueling gets totally figured out I'll be ready to upgrade again for more power.

You should be able to swap them blindfolded by now.... :-)

Just curious, how many miles on an engine is too many when planning a turbo/fueling upgrade? I've got 60k of well maintained miles but the longer it takes for this stuff to come out the more leary I get of doing it.

Joewee, it's really impossible to say without knowing what the weakest link is, but the argument can be made that the ring end gaps are wider at high mileage so you're actually better off.

We have a set in a truck with 100k miles, as of now everything looks good.

I have been looking at turbo upgrades after enjoying the added power of my SCT tuner. I am not sure what brand turbo upgrade to go with yet. Perhaps the Precision. I'm sure ill find some suggestions here on the forum.

I was also thinking while the turbos are off, Porting or a manifold upgrade too. Has anyone heard of these 3.5L EcoBoost performance manifolds or have they purchased a set?

I would just take the stock exhaust manifolds off port them out 1/2 way with a harbor freight small air grinder and try them with new gaskets. See if you like it before investing s lot of cash in new speed parts. Nice weekend project.
