That sounds great! My Corsa and one Vibrant UQ still sounds like a race car. I was gonna have another UQ welded on, but I decided I’m done modifying this 3” exhaust and will likely upgrade to something larger later in the year.
So to quiet things down in the mean time I ordered a fart can off Amazon lol....should be here tomorrow. It’s gonna look silly, but should hopefully take the edge off for daily driving. I’ll be able to put my standard tip back on for racing when needed.
I can’t test it out as my truck is still broken due to being locked on a bad tune and my replacement SCT device is still not here. But once I’m back up and running I’ll post a video for a good laugh.

Great thread!
does anybody have a sound clip of mak pipe with two ultra quiets with factory or big magnaflow muffler?
think I’m keeping factory manifolds and going to delete cats.
my goal is to get back to factory sound level without cats. Possible??

It's possible, but why?
It's possible, costly and will leave the truck less "green", why bother?

Here's my new setup:
Kooks 1-7/8" headers with offroad y-pipe
Borla 400500 & Magnaflow 12279 mufflers
3" exhaust pipe

My current setup above is slightly quieter than that was. The vibrants are great when you're limited on space but if you have it I would go with as big of a name brand muffler as you can fit.
I've gone through about 5-6 different configurations so far and the one I posted is by far the best especially considering no cats. May be able to stuff some bottle resonators in the y-pipe somewhere but i'm very happy with the exhaust note right now.
You can always try this monster Maybe even pair it up with a Vibrant UQ.

I have not tried two vibrants but I did use one vibrant ultra quiet with another generic resonator of similar size and a magnaflow 12279 muffler. (3 total)

your truck sounds great. Thx for the vid! The tone is spot on.
I may just order a few things up and experiment with the catless y pipe.
I want to save room for a cutout as well. I’d like to build a muffler bypass pipe so that the exhaust still flows out of the factory tip

34" inches long...Holy crap..I have muffler envy...I doubt that will fit under a RC.
Thanks for tagging along into Ken's live chat. Hope you were not too bored. The Mustang guys have one of those almost every evening.
