Running better, Fun-n-Grudge
Made a trip to the track for Saturday night Fun-n-Grudge. I think there's still a tenth or two in it to be gained. I'm in the left lane.
Not the best pic, but that's an 11.89 @ 116mph. I can't help but thinking that a set of 4.56 gears would easily net a tenth or two, since it's shifting into 4th about 150ft from the finish line.

Thanks man! This will probably be my last trip until the weather starts cooling off some. Unless some of the local guys want to meet up.

Very nice! Wish i could have made it out. Chasing down some fueling issues after my DW400 install.

Nice run! No question now, you are in the 11's.
But can we make a bet you don't gain a 10th with a gear install? Once you start making more power it'll shift into 4th earlier in the run...but if you go 4.56 gears you'll be right back in the same position with more power and too much gear. Try a 72mm pulley before you spend the money on gears, should be no problem with the Boostane you run.

Pretty sure I'm going to do the gears. There's a lot of room imho for more power even with the 4.56's, as it's crossing the finish line at about 6200 rpm only. I plan to leave the shift points alone so the only thing that should change is getting into 4th gear a little sooner and being able to wring it out a little further in 4th. Without doing a torque converter I think it's the best way to get another tenth out of it in the current configuration.
