Plenty of stock 2.7 RCSB's out there, what are they running in the 1/4? Certainly not 13.2.

Nice truck, and I agree with most of your post. Local guy has a 2.7 that rockets off the line, and then falls off pretty hard.

Anyhow, I find it odd that your truck limits at 100, all 3 of my F150's have limited around 106?

My trucks Speedo reads 2-3 mph high at 50mph. Double that for 100.

And thats not because my tire size is off, I've nailed my tire size to perfection with my GPS and SCT tuner but the actual needle on the speedo is off and shows a different speed than Torque Pro does off the OBD port.

Maybe he was manually shifting and he meant the Engine Rev Limiter?

I also don't know why it would do to be honest both the 2.7 and 5.0 would cut off at 100, but most of my buddys that have crew cabs cut off at 105, so i'm guessing theres different limiters for different trucks or something.

I was going to show up with my bone stock 85 Ford Escort. It runs 12 flats on 85 octane. I’ve got to have my big toe removed that day though so I can’t make it.
