Official Quarter Mile Time List

I find it amusing, all the trolls in this site that say “trucks aren’t fast, trucks aren’t for speed”, or some other folks who think that whatever fill in the blank sports car will whup a truck. Not so at the strip, and my truck runs the same on the street, which isn’t the case for 98% of cars at the track. Full weight supercab truck on 32’s virtually ties a helcat. I wonder what his tow rating is lol.
i’ll post a vid sometime this week of the race

I assume your kidding? One tenth from one of the most powerful muscle cars ever. Funny thing, I was going to tow my camper to the track and stay the night, but it’s still winterized. If I knew how to drive, I’d have been leading until the last couple hundred feet. And it didn’t require some compromised limited use vehicle. I was hub deep in muck just a few months back while hunting. His car was sitting for the winter.

Yep - fine by me for a nice looking and sounding but otherwise useless 2wd car for where we live. Only place in the world he can “beat” me is at a prepped track, I’m fine with that. If not, well, perhaps an intake manifold or something beefier than the stock exhaust is in my future.

Don’t start with the limited use vehicle crap either...it sounds like a big bag of excuses. You chose to use your truck to race a faster car and got beat...no shame in that just like there’s no shame in him buying whatever car he wanted.
