Does your tuner not have a valid license or something? Why aren’t they road testing?

he's afraid you'll give him a ticket!

They did do road testing....but not all out drag strip style pulls (except on the dyno). It's pretty difficult where their shop is to try to find a place to do such a thing, at least any place that's close. He did offer to go to the strip a while back, but didn't restate that offer when we talked yesterday. If the logging that I do doesn't work out, then I'll insist that he follows up at the strip.

I was going to purchase one of Tx-Ripper's Ngauges that was for sale and return the truck to stock and then reflash with the hptuners software, however there would have been a software charge from hptuners for their credit system. Also it's my understanding there may have been some charges by the ngauge folks themselves. They've done remote tuning with John Lund numerous times so they're familiar with using the SCT software and didn't have any trouble setting up the file, so I'm glad I still have the x4.
