I definitely need to check plugs and/or get an update on my tune. It showed 19 lbs of boost on those passes. Should definitely pick up more than 2-3 tenths over stock. 2.02,2.04 60fts but I don’t remember mph.

2.0 60 fts i was running 12.80's with a tune on ethanol. I'd expect a safe 93 tune to run 13.1-13.2 and a tow tune to run 13.3 to 4's.

Thanks for the info. I’ve emailed 5 Star also.
Hopefully they’ll fix me up

I'll second any of those who have recommended datalogging and getting back with 5* for a tune tweak. One thing to note is that if you're looking for all out power then the 93perf tune is the one to focus on. Once that tune was dialed in I've left it there daily driving and towing my boat all year. It's darn quick (and I don't mean quick "for a truck on 35"tires).

I have a BDX and am interested in datalogging for a revision. What did you notice as far as change from non-revised to revised?

Through datalogging a tune becomes truly custom, dialed in to your particular truck, fuel quality and conditions.
And of course more power.

I'll look into doing a data log this weekend. Pretty straight forward I assume?

plan on getting a 5star tune myself on my little 2.7. I was bummed for a second reading your post but whwn you said you were running the perf/tow tune I wasjt sure if you knew they had an actual 93 perf tune. As for the e30 and 50 tunes, those are for track days or street racing. Definately not your daily. I plan on a 87 perf/tow 91 perf and 93 perf tune. How is yours holding up and has anyone looked into the warranty they offer? Does it seem legit or is there alot of red tape?

Mine is holding up just fine, I honestly haven’t ran the perf/tow but I have been running the perf only tune and love it. I towed 8k lbs yesterday with it up and down some pretty nasty hills and man I was able to pass on flat ground like I didn’t have a trailer, it might have still been tough going up a hill but she was rolling along just fine. I was also using the tow/haul setting on my F-150. But yeah to answer your question it’s fantastic with and without a pull behind.

I have 5 Star's 91 performance, 93 performance a couple perf/tow tunes and a
E30 performance, I daily the e30, it's a phenomenal daily driver tune, shifting, power... been daily driving it for over 5k miles now in my 2017 2.7
I also ran 5 Star tunes in my old 2013 3.5, zero issues with the dealership and warranty work.

The warranty is absolutely legit, make sure to read through the fine print though.

2017 2.7

Yeah, I had only run the 87 and 93 perf /tow. They sent me a perf only tune and that tune is a totally different animal. The perf only isn't even in the same ballpark as the perf/tow.
