Need More Power 2018 3.5 Eco

Let me preface by saying, I know, I know, I should have another 5.0 and put a whipple on it but I wanted a change and what's done is done.

That being said, I've got a 5 star performance tune on the truck right now. Simply put, I need more power. Yeah it's faster with the tune but still feels low on balls if you know what I mean. Maybe my expectations were too high. I've searched and all I can find is cold air intakes which is a waste and cat back exhaust and I hate the sound of a v6 with an exhaust. What are my other options. Bigger turbos? Who makes a kit? What else?

So... if you have e85 in your area, the 5 star e30 or e50 tune (not sure which one they have) would probably make an easy 50-70 more horsepower than the 93 tune. If you're running an 87 performance tune... that's where you messed up lol.

Running a 93 octane tune. E85 is hard to find around me so I'm hesitant to switch to an e85 tune especially for my daily driver.

No experience with our truck in particular, but I do with turbos and tuning on other platforms. Intake will get you a bit of flow, a larger intercooler will keep you out of knock for longer. Larger diameter exhaust will help spool (not that we need it). At a certain point though you hit the flow limit of the turbos and more boost just creates more heat.

Short answer - bigger turbos for more power. I highly recommend the borg Warner efr line - I have a 6258 on my miata and it is fantastic. A couple of those on your 3.5 and you'll be able to make more power than the stock rotating assembly will take. Full race makes a kit for earlier trucks, probably working on one for the 2018s. Big dollars but big power too.

I think Whipple makes kits for the 3.5 Eco that have bigger intercoolers and such. Not to mention getting a good custom tune.

gears. I've always been a fan.

Is 5 star not a custom tune?

I've got 3.55's right now. Where would I go from there?

3.5 with 3.55 should be fine, I was thinking you had 3.31.. that gear is a flat out dog!
I would talk to 5 star and let them tweak it for you. 93 performance is enough for most not to want nor need more.
4.10 seams to be what you might like, but given the tune isn't near what you want, I would buy a weekend car for speed and just enjoy the truck
