Just traded my 11' 5.0 on new EcoBoost. Man it's fast.
Went in to buy a new 5.0 and dealer offered me a killer deal on 2.7. I drove all three and the small EcoBoost is the fastest. Can anyone explain how the engine with the least horsepower is the fastest? My brother has a 395hp ram. This is what I compared all 3 trucks side by side against on a private road. I'm impressed with these EcoBoost engines.

So this was posted by Goldengloves on 7/1/18 "Picked up a used 2011 5.0 excab xlt 4x4 75k miles. Truck runs good. Only problem is a clunk from takeoff. Son laid on ground and can hear it from the rear. I crawled under and pulled on the driveshaft. There wasn't any play in it. I don't see anything worn. Rear isn't leaking. Any thoughts on what's causing it?"
