Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk - Who's up for it!?

No fart cans allowed
You're wasting our time assuming the lot of us are Ford fanbois.
This F150 is the first Ford I've ever owned. It's the first domestic car I've owned in the better part of 20 years. I likely would have been looking at the Titan XD or Tundra if either of them really held a candle to the F150 in terms of value and performance combination. Plus the incentives on F150s are never matched by foreign automakers. Tundra mpg is horrendous as is the titan v8. The XD was under consideration due to the cummins diesel, but the pricing was ridiculous. And unless you get a higher level trim package, they stanced the wheels all wrong and it looks goofy.

Well, all I’m wondering is who is gonna show this (apparently ****ty “unoriginal”) beast some tail lights.
Too many haters hatin, but not many will keep up.

lol I’d have time to read the paper and smoke a cigar at the end of my run on an R1 before that Jeep crosses the finish line. There would also be $70k left in my bank account to buy a loaded Lariat, bolt on a supercharger, and cover pretty much whatever else I want to drop in.

Gee, that’s an apt comparison. How much does your girly-bike tow?
LOL at the stupidity of comparing a truck to a bike.

You do realize that the Trackhawk is in the same tow performance range as mom's soccer van right? While we understand you've got a raging boner for this Jeep, it's time to be honest. There are more capable vehicles to be had at that price point, and far faster vehicles available in stock form for a lot less money. If you want to say it would be a fun car to have, sure. If you want to say it's a fast car, no argument there either. If you want to say it's hands down the fastest, best vehicle at that price point, you're simply in denial.

Holy missing the point Batman.

You’re the only one missing the point. You can build a faster F-150 for less money. You can buy a faster stock vehicle for a lot less money. You may consider the R1 to be apples to oranges. I don’t. The trackhawk has a tow rating so low that as far as most on this forum are concerned, it can’t tow. The majority of my time in a car is spent driving with 1 passenger or less and nothing in the trunk. Above all, the quarter mile time is meaningless for those who don’t care about drag racing. You will almost never have a real life situation where you stay full throttle for that distance, meaning a supercharged 5.0 will provide the same performance as a DD with a hell of a lot more capability at a lower price. The bottom line: the trackhawk isn’t that special.

I think they’re awesome. I came real close to buying an SRT Jeep back in 2014...talked myself out of it for some reason.
I have no intention of chasing numbers like that. I’m only putting a blower on mine to make it fun to drive...not to chase the fastest guy on the street.
