At the very best, he convinced his poor buddy to come on here to try and defend him. At worst, he made it all up. It tend to think the latter since he couldn't even keep the truck description straight.

The design of most Internet forums is such that “artificial bravery” is a serious problem. This artificial bravery comes in the form of anonymity.
