My opinion FWIW
My last truck was a 12 F150 3.5EB SC FX2 with livernois 93 tune. Even using the elec locker street traction was always an issue. Brake boosting was always eventful.
Current truck is a 17 FX4 as in sig with MPT 93 tune. Using 4A or 4H I can brake boost all I want and just go, uneventful.
forgot to go 4A once on a launch and 2WD sucked.....spun and shifted into second so quick it actually downshifted back into 1st....eventful.

It's quite and experience to put down 6-700ft/lbs to 4wd. Sunday nights around here are rowdy, thousands of cars, many of them fast, guess who beats them all? One red Tesla and one stage 3 Audi RS something. In 2 years, that's the only taillights I've seen. So it all depends what you want to do, I say kill'em before they know what's happening, stock tire size, not too much exhaust. No show, all go. And that requires 4wd, even big (illegal) slicks don't work as well or as consistently.

In my experience a low 12 high 11 4x4 truck will beat 95% of the street vehicles out there on the street or strip.
