I was just going off of Maurices fastest time, the 13.3. If we have a legit stock 2 wd crew cab we can compare it to this one. Ill bet the 18's are a tiny bit quicker but no more then 1-3 tenths.

I hate to say it, but you are very wrong. Maurices fastest time was a 13.23, not 13.3. I've heard of stock 16-17 5.0 RCSB doing 13.9-13.8 in good conditions. That is 6 tenths difference. You are are focusing too much on the 10 HP gain (under rated), and not all the others. The 18 5.0 has much more power down low. It produces more torque at 2500 rpm than the 6.2 Boss. Mid range is beastly on the 18's compared to the 17's. And the 10 speed transmission, is the biggest advantage on the 2018 5.0's giving more pull at the starting line, and faster revs though the gears, while only dropping 500 RPM's on the shifts. This has added up to 6 full tenths vs any comparable 2017 5.0 with the 6 speed. The perfect combo to now make the 18 5.0's the quickest of the new trucks!

I was looking at this earlier this week, and i found multiple examples of '15-17 crew cab 2wd's in the 13.6-13.8 range with intake/exhaust/93 tune. Looked like all stock they were high 14's (14.6-14.8) but rear axle was a big factor on this with the 6 speed. So, based on my unscientific research, the same crew cab 2wd 2018 5.0 runs the same 1/4 mile time as a tuned/intake/exhaust 15-17. A lot of variable here to move the #'s some, but the 2018 is significantly faster. And thats just stock...the gen 3 5.0 potential in tuning is far better than the gen 2 5.0.

Anyone know what gear and RPM and gear a stock 2018 F150 5.0 is in when it crosses the quarter mile line? Specifically would like to know the answer for each ratio, 3.31, 3.55 and 3.73, of course on stock tires. I've looked at some videos and it looks like it's 3rd or 4th, but I was unable to find what rear end the fellas had.
