Tune, e85, headers they're making 450-470 hp. I can tell you now, that's WAY outside the realm of the 15 5.0 with those same mods.

On the mustang those same mods are making 500 whp. That's about... 60-70 more whp than the outgoing mustang makes with similar mods.

It would be closer than you think on an engine dyno. Mike is 100% right about the trans making a big difference when you’re looking at chassis dyno numbers.

I'm actually looking at 6 speed manuals vs the 10 speed auto numbers for the mustang so i don't think that's the case.
12.5:1 compression, more displacement, better intake manifold and direct injection. The difference is the motor, the trans might make up 5% of the difference if that.
