And I wanna see pics when done!!!
Well...you’re wrong but that’s your right to be. I’ve used the Vibrant race mufflers and also Dynomax Mini Race Bullets several times to dial in volume levels, including the exhaust system on the truck now. They actually work quite well.

It still seems like you have to crossovers in your proposed exhaust. The x and then the muffler...is it not a crossover point also?

That muffler is just 2 straight through pipes in one case. They don’t merge inside. I’m gonna buy 2 Magnaflow oval mufflers to have on standby for the first start up. I sent an email to see what the spacing is on the inlet and outlet of the muffler that comes with the kit to figure out what will fit...4x8’s or 5x9’s. If it’s too loud I’ll swap them in, if not I’ll just return them.
My parts list includes 2 oval mufflers, 4 of the 9” long race mufflers and 2 12” long bottle resonators.

That's a resonated x pipe. That's what i like to use on the mustangs. magnaflow 3" resonated x pipe in place of resonators, and then whatever cat back they want on it.

running 2 resonators seems pointless when that x pipe exists.

The guy at Magnaflow told me it’s not an X inside that muffler. That’s all the info I can go off of. He didn’t know the inlet spacing so I emailed about that to get an answer. I like that Dynomax resonated X...just don’t know if there’s enough room to work with under the truck with everything else that’ll be going on.
As far as running more resonators...it’s all about playing with it to dial in the sound I want. Catless LT’s are loud...I think I can build a quiet system with them so I’m gonna give it a shot.
I got this catless single 3.5” system quiet as hell...now I’m gonna try it with LT’s.

This is my starting plan...with the muffler that comes with the cat-back.
The SW catless pipe has a lot of room for trimming and adjustments to fit things...that’s gonna work in my favor.

Obviously that’s an X...and I already said the tech that picked up the phone at Magnaflow said the muffler in the Raptor cat-back isn’t. That’s all the info I have.
