Default Exhaust revamp plans

I like changing around exhaust systems...dunno why. I’m a glutton for punishment I guess. I was working on the exhaust 6 weeks ago when the damn truck fell on me but I still wanna change it again. lol
I’ve been wanting to put on the 1 7/8” Stainless Works LT’s for quite a while I just couldn’t decide how to finish it off. I hate anything side exit so I was planning to tuck it up and hide it like my single 3.5” is now...then this idea popped into my head.
I’m gonna mate it to a Magnaflow Raptor cat-back with Vibrant race mufflers where the cats would be and 2 more as far back as I can fit them and finish it off with a 2019 Limited bumper. Should look great on my dropped truck and sound good too. I’m a little leery about the single muffler but if it’s too loud I’ll swap that for a pair of bigger oval mufflers.

The backside would look sweet, especially on a lowered platform. Sound is always so objective so get it where you like it and quit.

I bought a 2.7 in my new regular cab so I have to live vicariously through those of you so gracious to post an exhaust sound clip. I am thrilled with the power that my little engine puts out but it will never sound like my old truck with the V8, and I do miss it. My wife commented how quiet it is when we go for a ride, hurt my feelings a little.

It's gonna be loud...but if you run the tailpipes all the way out the back it shouldn't bother you that much. My exhaust is pretty close to yours except I've got two magnaflow mufflers mated behind the x pipe turned on edge. I had to trim the brace under the bed to make room for the exhaust to clear the axle. I had them put the exhaust up pretty high as I was planning on doing a gear swap and didn't want any interference from the drivers side pipe. You might be able to squeeze it in without trimming the brace, but I'll bet it's gonna be close.

You may have to remove the spare also. Mine is in the bed.

Also it seems the x pipe is redundant with the dual in/out muffler

A couple of guys have already fit that cat back on stock height 2wd trucks. And the swapping things around to dial it in is the fun part. Not idea why it’s fun but I bet I’ve done 4-5 exhausts on every truck I’ve ever had. I’m weird like that. lol

I've had several different exhaust set ups on mine also.

I thought your truck was slammed

It’s gonna be really loud, and it’s gonna drone. If you can squeeze some vibrant ultra quiets in there, maybe turned sideways before the muffler, that should help.

Thought you were were selling this truck lol.

I’m throwing it in the garage this weekend and going to the Caribbean for the rest of the summer. Decided to keep it and play with it when I get back. This will be the starting point...I’ll add and subtract to dial it in. That’s the fun part.

I wanna see this, but those vibrant race mufflers aren't gonna do anything. I think those kinda things are just for show for race cars that need 'mufflers' to qualify tech.

I'd suggest the biggest damn resonator you can fit to keep volume at a level you can stand.

And I wanna see pics when done!!!
