From Airflow solutions. Ported OTD $500 shipped.

Or $530 if you go legit and pay Paypal fees by not calling it a gift....

Thumbs up FORScan results

I played with FORScan yesterday and the results were surprising!
The hacks actually worked. I'm not surprised that FORScan worked, I'm surprised I was able to do it myself!
I want to thank everyone the had a hand in developing the F-150 spreadsheet. The information is extremely helpful and absolutely accurate.
Now I'm waiting for the exhaust system to arrive and be installed so I can cash in a HP Tune credit.
Anxious to see some improvements in power and more importantly, in transmission responsiveness.

Default Old man; New toy....Continued.

After more research and discussion, I finally decided I would go with a Bully Dog BDX tuner and a couple of tunes from 5 Star.
I had the Magnaflow exhaust system installed and the results are very encouraging. The sounds are fantastic!
I will update anyone that is interested as I test the tunes from 5 Star.
Nothing fancy, no dynamometer, just seat of the pants impressions.

I just got several 5* tunes as well. My seat of the pants testing discovered that tunes are guaranteed to make you smile! The 93 octane performance tune is astonishing.

Default Old man, new toy...Continues

That is good news! I havenít received mine yet; I just submitted the request yesterday.
I am not expecting great performance enhancements as I opted for the 87 octane tunes. My area of concern is the transmissionís sluggish shifting patterns. In ďNormalĒ mode, thereís such a lack of response I first thought it was faulty.
Iím hopping the tuning will resolve this issue and if it gives me a couple more HP and MPG, Iíll consider it money well spent!
Good luck with your truck.

As others have mentioned the 87 "wakes up" the truck. Definitely a nice improvement over stock. 87 sport mode is way more fun than stock.

Default Old man; Etc Etc!

Ok thanks for the encouragement!
Iím really not into high performance, just like the idea of being able to tinker with it. I also did some tinkering with FORScan. The exhaust system? Just my second coming. I love the sounds!!

We sound much alike. I do miss the V8 sound of my Tundra. The 3.5 EB is quick but it definitely doesn't sound as nice as a V8!

Yeah, as a kid, I couldn't afford a nice truck and modifying one was not possible.
Now, I get to make up for lost time.
My wife thinks I lost my mind. She won't drive the truck . Says it is too loud and it embarrasses her.
I blame that on her age (and mine), were both 73.
Oh well, more drive time for me!

TLRSR -
73 years young - just right for enjoying new toys. I'm not too far behind at 67 personalizing my new 18 screw. Wife thinks I've gone over putting $ into the new ford rather than the 51 chevy 5 window build project. Don't see a problem with both. ;-)
