Default Dyno run with cams

E85 125 shot with cams 492hp/562tp - E85 125 shot before cams 453hp/533tq (traction control kicked in at 4200 rpm and interrupted run)

93 PRX tune with cams 373hp/343tq - 93 PRX tune before cams 369hp/350tq

Here is a before and after with the cams. Now at first look it looks unimpressive but look how much further the power band goes out. Also the before pulls were all 3rd gear pulls and the after pull was a 4th gear pull. I had a 4th gear pull from the before and that read about 17 hp lower. I'm trying to dig that one up. Also I was able to get a good nitrous pull so hard to compare the two but all in all I was pretty happy with the numbers. I ran the NA tune to about 7400 and the Nitrous tunes to about 6900

And here was my nitrous pull before the cams traction control turned on and caused the erratic graph. Dyno run with cams-photo92.jpg

Were the tunes street and dyno calibrated to your truck for the cam? or were those just canned tunes looking for the flat difference due to the cam?
Nice numbers overall!

The tunes were revised by MPT to account for the cams yes. I've had a few revisions with the PRX tune, but this was my first log with the nitrous at all. I sent that file to MPT to fine tune. I thought I'd be closer to 520-530HP, but the TQ #'s were a little higher than I expected. So overall pretty happy.. Track times will tell the real tale!

Is that still feeding through a single 3" exhaust? Might explain the lower then expected HP number despite the high torque.

Kooks long tubes with their catted mid pipe into 3" magnaflow dumped before axle. I'm not sure the #'s were really low, I don't have a great point of reference. I was just guesstimating a little higher. I've had the truck dyno'd after almost every meaningful modification and it always reads higher in 3rd, these pulls were 4th. Could be something there. Main thing is that I was able to log all 3 runs and sent them over to MPT to review.
