Dont change or update your custom or canned tunes!!!
It's finally happened, the gov has put a stop to Derive Systems (SCT/BDX) et al....

If you have what already works, keep it safe and DO NOT data log for updating (tweaking) the tune. DO NOT update your device if you use canned tunes. The only thing the device (new sales) will now be good for is tire size changes, axle ratio and the like. Well actually you can still data log just don't do anything with it.

Been a very long time since I studied 5 gas analysis but that I do remember.

OEM engine running parameter is stoichiometric or 14.6:1, in order to increase performance this must be changed by usually leaning out the mixture and boosting the timing which in turn creates excessive NOx which is exactly what the EPA has direct say so over in vehicles manufactured for resale in the US.
