I removed this over the weekend...went to a 415lph DW 400 in tank pump.
$200 shipped CONUS if anyone is looking for one. The harness is already extended and plugs modified per VMP’s instructions for a truck install. I did have to cut the wires to remove everything...you’d have to re-make the 3 connections and that’s it. Pics show where I cut it and another shows how I originally made the connections.
I just got word back from whipple that the dw400 fuel pump actually generates too much fuel pressure on hot start and the next cal will address it.
I'm going to have to drop my fuel tank to put on my CalTracs. Since I'm doing that I thought about putting in a DW400, Do you know if the new tune that addresses this was for both F150 and Mustangs? I guess I can give Whipple a call.
