yeah no crap. I am impressed with my 18 f150 crew cab 5.0 stock. hopefully soon it will have full exhaust, resonators instead of cats and a tune. cant wait to try it then. I have a deleted and tuned 2014 6.7 powerstroke that it should hang with. The powerstroke's egt's start getting high and it begins defueling after 6 to 8 seconds of hard acceleration.
My wife is driving the new truck for now so I am hoping the resonators will keep the truck from being too loud with dual borla pro flow xs mufflers. I have a borla pro flow xs on my old super duty with a 5.4 and it is kind of loud.

Saw the 5star Truck was using a D1SC on 15 lbs, E85, GT intake. 831whp

My question for the whipple army is how are IATs on the 18? It’s hot in SC. I know the 18 gen 3 2.9 was supposed to have a larger IC brick, etc but seems to be a lot of iat discussion? Is it figured out. How far above ambient?

i know on 93 pump we are probably limited to somewhere around 650. Just a choice of power delivery with whipple or tvs being instant and twins/Centris more progressive. Then you can throw a wastegate on a centri and bring it in sooner

We we are definitely spoiled with truly bolt on cars/trucks eclipsing 1000whp!!

It also apparently has a full exhaust (rear that elsewhere) and definitely some fuel mods. The stock pump won’t support anywhere near 830 by itself.

Yes. Saw “shorty” headers

i would guess a DW400 with a bap at that power level if not dual pumps

Most guys just want the instant response a PD blower gives. I can see the bigger ProCharger set ups being a blast on the track but having owned one from 12-14 I can say first hand the every day drivability with a PD is infinitely better.

i see your point. I have heard of several wastegated centri trucks and thought that might be a happy medium of torque curve, IATs, power, and simplicity. also, with a boost controller it would be nice if you are switching between pump 93 and E85. PD blower on a heavy brick of a truck does seem naturally appealing though.

I have one on my 15 5.0. Have 12000 miles on it and use the truck as my DD.
