Default On 3 performance twin turbo kit (11-14 f-150 5.0) f150tt

Has anyone on here with a 5.0 bought one of these kits? Just wondering they say this is a start up kit that and then they have a tuner that will dial it in.
Kit is $3999

I modded the kit to fit on my '17. I know of a few others with the kit. It's been performing well. I have over 15k miles on the kit with no issues.

How did they tune it? did it take you several revisions to get it dialed in? and is it hard to install? thanks

A couple of guys on Corvette Forum recently installed On3 kits on their C6 Corvettes. One was used, the other new. There were installation modifications needed with both kits. It is my understanding that On3 decided to get out of the Corvette business due to the difficult underhood packaging. The kits ultimately made good numbers once they were tuned. Not sure if the F-150 kits are sold only as tuner kits like the Corvette kits. Any good, competent tuner can get you set up. I personally would get my turbo-experienced tuner vetted before I even considered buying the kit.

it's not going to be as easy as a whipple kit. You're going to need some mechanical know-how.

Mine is tuned with HP tuners. 11-14 trucks can be easily tuned with SCT. It took probably 20 revisions to get it to run right, but that's mainly because 15+ trucks are speed density vs MAF (like older trucks and mustangs are) also have 1300cc injectors and I had a kenne bell boost a pump at the time. The kit takes some mechanical knowledge to do, but it's not bad. The 11-14 kit is supposed to be straight bolt in no modifications required.
