I’ve ran some supposedly quick EB’s in Mexico...shown every single one of them my taillights by a large margin. C7 Vettes are my favorite though...my neighborhood is full of them.

Unbroken- We have had our debates, but I agree with you here. Not sure its worth selling to get that extra 1 sec drop in ET, and thats not guaranteed.

Considering i've ran one of the quickest passes ever in an ecoboost i'd venture to say that none of them are as fast as they think they were lol.

A couple claiming low 12’s on E50 tunes...I take it with a grain of salt. When you’re dragging C7 Vettes, 392 Chargers and Challengers from 60 rolls it’s a good time. That’s all I ever wanted.

It hooked out the hole after a good burnout but it shifted to 2nd gear and blew the tires down after the shift.
What kind of F150 do you have, and what mods have you done? I didn't see it in your sig.

When i ran 11.90:

2017 3.5 ecoboost f150 2WD 3.15 rear end
Detroit Trutrac
VAS traction bars
Wagner Intercooler
170 thermostat
Mickey Thompson 305/45/18 ET Street R radials
Tuned on E50 by me and my buddy

Things i've added since that pass, Viking double adjustable shocks, VAS shock angle relocate, catless downpipe, 3" exhaust

The exhaust mods, i want to stress this, picked up basically zero horsepower. They just lowered the stress on my turbocharger and drastically lowered the turbine wheelspeed.

I was going to go water meth to get more out of it then read some data on supercharging the 5.0 and people getting into the 11's. I am in Boise Idaho at 2700 ft roughly. Any feedback and people running the 5.0 with a whipple or VMP breaking into the 11s with a similar DA?

Considering just trading it in. (I have an evo that I autocross with, no room or desire for a straight up drag car).

Thanks for any input!
I'm new here so I don't know how to respond, but I have had both, no comparison Ecoboost has no sound and no throttle response (Yes it is a good motor). 5.0 Whipple/E70/OZtune/longtubes and everything else to make it work is a 800hp daily driving monster that screams at 7,300 to 8,000rpm shifts. 5.0 makes me smile everyday.

Welcome to the forums. You had a tuned ecoboost to compare? I also found a deal on a 17 with whipple already installed. Looking into that option as well.

Your truck is a Crew Cab right?
