Hey Guys just an FYI.... if you just try and order the new Tube and Box kit.. Whipple is going to want $375. I was working with Cody and told him that Dustin told us the $275 + $50 shipping. Cody put me on hold and went and talked with Dustin, he came back and said they would give it to me for the $275. So not sure if that will be a "Special Deal" or not. Just be aware... I think they are going to normally charge $375 for the Box and Tube.
I asked about using my current tube and was told our current tube will not work. Still no part numbers but this is the invoice he sent me before I asked about the price.

According to Cody, the box without tube is $275, so Tube is $100. And yeah... before this came out I was very much looking at getting a S&B or Airaid and modifying them to work with our tube. And I would love to be able to fab up a tube in aluminum instead of the plastic, I could then polish or powder coat with Super Chrome and have some more bling in my engine bay.

Wouldn't an aluminum tube be more prone to heat soak?
