I'm fairly certain mine has a closed box.
I thought something was off when I was inspecting the contents... but I did not think to look any further. I'll know for sure when my guy starts installing it this weekend.

I will be interesting to see if it has more air flow restriction than the open box. Some one will have to measure boost on the open box and then measure boost with the closed box on the same truck.

I asked Dustin about power loss. He replied it’s a wash, no gain no loss.

With the hood closed I'd gather they are about the same. However, on a hood open dyno run I bet the open element returns higher numbers. Not that this makes any difference one way or the other in actual use
