2018 Whipple calibration update
 

Hi everyone- I'm about 80% done with my Whipple install, and figured it was time to get the calibration. Spoke to Jeff at Whipple this afternoon, I asked if the calibration he was sent me earlier today had the latest trans tuning that I heard was set to drop sometime in January. He told me (to my delight) that the tune he sent to me was the first that had been sent with the "latest drivability upgrades" (evidently there were some part-throttle improvements made as well). So to those who have been waiting, its now available.

Also a HUGE shout to OCMike for his Whipple build thread, that has been my go-to reference for this project; Thank You!!:thumbup1:

Thanks for the update, I'll put a request in tonight yet....I had a good coach in TX-Ripper holding my hand the whole way on my install. When there was a minor issue on first start he went right to the problem.

Not sure would have taken it on without his encouragement. Sure glad I did.

When you put your request in on the Whipple website did you get an automated email back?

Usually I do, and this time I did not. One other time I didn't and Whipple never received my request.

I just email them. I have a chain with all my questions and requests. They're usually quick to respond. Never done the online request. But, i do get an automatic reply everytime i email them.

I can say that I did not get an automated email back when I submitted for my first calibration yesterday.

Heads up- I initially requested the tune via the Whipple website on Monday, and hadn't received a reply by yesterday, thus prompting my call to them. Not sure if it was a fluke or not, but the gentleman I spoke with on the phone before speaking with Jeff said the quickest way to get to the calibration desk was the tuning@whipplesuperchargers address.

Thanks...I just did one via email, I think that system on their website is a little flaky and it dies on their server then doesn't process the request.
