The guy with the very first kit has a video on youtube, I think he said 600whp on the KB tune. He also stated KB doesn't do anything with the trans tuning....so expect to pay for a good custom tune with the kit.

I when and looked that video up. He said that he dynoed in 4th gear. Maybe they left the stock 105 mph speed limiter in place. He said he added 6% to the numbers to get about 600 whp. I don't know if that was 6% per gear up to 7th gear or that was 6% total.
I made 567 whp with my Whipple Stage 2 and Whipple tune in 5th gear. It would have been nice if he gave us the HP actually made in 4th gear.

Not sure if it was the same video I saw...The one I watch the SC whine was obnoxious, or at least seemed that way in the video. I love sound of my Whipple but would not want it any louder for a daily driver.

The video I saw had two brothers in it. One was a Corvette guy and the other brother had an extended cab with the KB. It was a long video.

I did see that one too...It was sort of goofy, I don't think I watched the whole thing.

This is the one I was talking about. It was at @1:20 seconds. After watching it again, that might have been their 1300HP Prototype. They must have a hell of block under that thing.

No dyno curves in this video. Just a lot of rubber burning, which obviously is more important.

I would have loved to go with a Kenne Belle, but having a CARB EO number was a requirement for me.

With that said though, I love the Whipple.

I had a KB 2.3 on my Lightning. It lasted about 40,000 miles and the gears ate themselves along with the coupler between the front snout and the gears. It used a little oil so I had to stay on top of that.

I am just not a fan of the look or longevity compared to the Whipple. To each his own.
