No rev limit on an engine that builds power as fast a Coyote with a Whipple sounds like a horrible idea. Soft limit yes, no limit no way.

Can someone confirm what the latest version of Whipple tune is?
Here are the tunes that I have ran and when I got them from Whipple.
20180404 = Tomahawk_001_6019_VIN
20180622 = Tomahawk_1602_001_6024_VIN
20180726 = Tomahawk_1787_002_6026_VIN
20180831 = Tomahawk_2199_003_6029_VIN
20181003 = Tomahawk_2882_004_6029_VIN (when flashing this the Tomahawk said that the calibration was already present)
20181012 = Tomahawk_2973_005_6029_VIN (when flashing this Whipple did not send a new APP.LDR file and the Tomahawk said that this calibration was already present)
I contacted Whipple today over the phone and they tried to tell me that I was running that latest tune after leaving me on hold for over 20 minutes. Today Ken, OZ Tuning, said that the capture I sent him from the 20180831 = Tomahawk_2199_003_6029_VIN tune was the same as the one I just sent him from the Tomahawk_2973_005_6029_VIN tune. That would mean that I am still running the Tomahawk_2199_003_6029_VIN tune. I am just trying to figure out if I am using the latest Whipple tune before I license the tune from Ken. I am not real pleased with the lack of email responses I have gotten from Whipple.

I'm curious if anyone know's the nomenclature Whipple uses for their tune names. Looks like the middle 3 numbers may be your personal revision but not sure on the 1st and 3rd set of numbers.

I just received an update today: Tomahawk_3320_002_6030
Supposed to be more transmission updates.

Tomahawk_1744_002_6024_VIN - Modified Date 7-19-2018
Tomahawk_1843_003_6026_VIN - Modified Date 7-30-2018
The only pattern I've been able to understand is the middle section that appears to be the sequence of the tune, 001- 1st, 002- 2nd and 003- 3rd.

Looks like we should all hit them up and request the latest cal
side note: Dustin whipple told me there was some tweaks and tricks they learned when doing the mustang Cals that would make its way to the trucks.
Cam timing and a couple other things.
That was about 3 months ago.
From whipples history, the 1 year mark usually sees a big update that rounds out the tuning for years to come on that engine type.
