I don't know for the life of me why Roush can't make a FEAD system like Whipple and Edelbrock that doesn't require butchering up the timing cover. We will have to wait and see if the the squeeze is worth the juice on this install.
I had heard it was part of the block that had to ground away timing cover is not quite as bad. Although the timing cover doesn't seem like it would be a very heavy casting to be removing metal from....Thanks for the clarifying.

The Whipple is 100% reversible with only a few hoses and a ground wire that would need to be changed back. Maybe $40 in parts.

Ha, I'm pretty sure everyone on this thread knows the answer. Messy install + less power made the decision easy for me months ago.

The pictures I saw of the Roush install in a F150 had a plastic I/C reservoir up high about where our cold air intake is. It seems like heat soak would be major problem, seeing that hot air rises and all that is contained under the hood.

I was all set on a Roush Nitemare...Until I really looked closer. The price was the final killer I've put a ton of mods into my truck and still spent a lot less.

I do plan on testing the 3.500.

The headers did exactly what whipple stated it would and this lets me run the 3.625 daily where I was having trouble with it and the iat temps.

I said that backwards. It should be "if the juice is worth the squeeze".

I checked my Discover card statement and there was a credit for $400 from Whipple for the new unused small LTR,...So now I'm shopping for gauges.

I really like these Banks, they aren't cheap but really look nice. I think I saw someone with a set somewhere on this forum.

Has anyone else used these?

Mount them in a AutoMeter Gauge pod.

Anyone notice how in the new Revision 7 install instructions, there is zero mention of the small signal pass LTR....

My guess is the larger dual pass LTR is Whipple's new standard heat exchanger.

Could be..Might have just gotten lucky on sending mine back in time.

There a was a truck load of Shelby leaving the plant that I past coming back from lunch...Supercabs no less...I was wondering the same thing about those. I think maybe I have become a Whipple geek.

you can download it from whipples site, go to the blower page for the 2018 f150 and it’s under the attachments page.
