ambient temperature 74-78 on the drive to work (from the Nav display)

I was seeing 23-25 degrees above ambient at cruising speed of 60-70mph on a 20 min drive

That is a big difference. How does it do while idling? The original LTR has problems bringing down the temp once it gets up.

I bet a big old 16” pusher fan on front of it would get you damn near to ambient.

So far that is the only thing I think is lacking to get it down to 10-15 over ambient.

or programming the radiator fan to run more then 20% at operating temperature.

there is way more room with the high capacity LTR for mounting fans.

maybe if we all beat Whipple up, they will r&d us an option.

I couldn’t even get a hose out of them...damn sure can’t see getting a custom fan. lol

I guess I’m gonna go the easy way out and just add fans. Im
gonna check my LTR dims against the numbers you posted...if yalls are larger I’ll be making someone an offer on their left over junk. lol

If the high capacity heat exchanger won't fit in your truck you can have my old heat exchanger to try and run them in series, no charge. I am thinking you could mount it above the one that currently have.
