I just got off the phone with the dealer I'm buying my 2018 Whipple from and they told me it will be another 6-8 weeks. Which is fine with me, I don't even have my truck yet.

Are you other guys with 2018 Whipple SCs ordered getting the same story on yours, or should I start to worry?

I haven't asked yet on when my kit will be shipped, but will try tomorrow.

Can you share the torque numbers?

Also that was 91 octance, do you have a range you expect to see on 93?

Whipple: "Torque is 550rw, same as the mustang. 93 octane will most likely make another 15-25rwtrq."



So we might be see kits making 565-575rwtq on the Whipple tune and 93 octane.

That's a significant bump in torque. My 15 made 520 but most 15-17's are in the 480-490 range.

I believe Whipple is still finalizing the tune for the f150 and mustang.

That's what Lethal Performance told me today too, that was the reason for the shipping delay.

The installation instructions are posted on whipples site, no mention of the fan kit.

Not sure if that scrapped it, if so I need to get a refund...

The fan kit is an additional option...not included in the basic kit.
I opted not to run them. I can always add them later if I need them.

I think everyone is till waiting for their 2018 Whipple, I ordered mine the day after Christmas some have waited even longer, ...I thought it was going to beat my truck, now I'm having my doubts. Truck is due in a little over two weeks.

The Whipple I was told would be 4-6 weeks about 2 weeks ago.

I would rather have Whipple get the tune right though first and take a little longer.
