I got the new calibration installed yesterday.
I gotta say, this one is pretty damn good. The changes in the transmission strategy alone make it worth it. The transmission just seems much more sure of itself, especially at light throttle. It also seems to have a fair bit more grunt in the mid-range. That was a huge pleasant surprise.
Kudos to Whipple on this calibration.

Tip in is strong.
Transmission does a better job of knowing where it needs to be, cam timing is now inline with the the Whipple mustang calibration (which makes more power everywhere)

Something that hasn't been talked about in a while
With these 12:1 compression motors, even with the exhaust restriction decreased (free flowing/headers) - you will likely make more power for longer with a larger pulley (unless you have higher octane - think e85 or an octane booster that works)
3.750 at sea level on 93 with gen 3 or 3.875 at sea level on 93 with a gen 4 blower.
You want to see max timing. If you run more boost and don't have the octane to see max timing, its a wash and can shorten the life of your motor.
(Guys at higher altitude have to lower the pulley to get the same air flow)

IMO even NA it's questionable running low grade fuel in these trucks even if Ford says you can.
I NEVER did with the exception of the first tank when the dealer filled it up. Spark management and direct injection helps without a doubt.
It's just the old school hot rodder in me that remembers seeing this sticker on the console of a 1960's L88 Corvette that stuck with me.

It’s astonishing that we are now running 12/1 compression and 10+ psi boost on pump gas these days. I remember when the “new” (1992) LT1 came out at 10.25/1 and you couldn’t run over about 3.5 psi boost on them or they would break pistons....and that was with the reverse flow cooling, aluminum heads, and knock sensors.

I just up-loaded the new tune into my 2019 from Whipple, and it does seem to drive better, not sure if it is any more powerfull. Anybody know exactly what changes where made? One thing I wish Whipple would change in one of there updates is the 6200 rpm shift points in bother Normal and Sport... Right as the truck seems to be pulling hard it shifts....

No luck on getting a tune this weekend from Whipple so far. The number on the back of the programmer they asked for was not what they were after.
I sent them a photo of the back of my Tomahawk, so it might have to wait till next week when I can call them. I've never had this issue before, I don't recall them ever asking for it.
