According to Whipple Stage 2 should be 3.750. I have a 3.875 on mine. When I called Stephane at Beechmont to ask about it, he stated he has ONLY seen the Stage 2s leave there with 3.875s on them. @OCMike stated he got a 3.750 in his Stage 2 kit?

What does everyone have that was original with the build/kit you got?
I have a 3.625 right now but it came with a 3.750.

That's really odd RayoVac.

Back when TX-Ripper and I ordered ours they didn't even call them stage 1 and 2. You just ordered them to use the OE throttle body or the large TB, now I think that's the difference.

They also shipped them with the tiny heat exchanger I procrastinated on my install long enough that it was still new when they released the bigger one and did an upgrade and was credited back the difference.

I don’t know if you will see gains with the 3.625 unless you use boostane.

As boost climbs your engine will knock and the timing gets pulled washing out what you gained.

The gen 4 blower will require one size larger pulley and make 15 more horse power then the gen 3 with that larger pulley.

Eta March, and your gen 3 can be shipped back to whipple for the upgrade.

Cost is $140 + Shipping from Whipple. I think you might also need a different belt. The Gates number is in the this huge thread somewhere. I can find it if you need it.

It's s lot cheaper to buy the belt from Rock Auto or Amazon then from Whipple.

Took my truck out today mid 40s...No dice on getting traction even in 4X4, there was melted snow everywhere.

Ohhh I guess I thought the tensioner would take up the slack, is it too much when you go to a 3.625 for the tensioner to absorb?
