2018 5.0 Whipple numbers straight from Whipple.

I'm not sure I would agree with that just because of a few goofs in their documentation. I've yet to see where you can even order a Roush SC for a 2018 F150.
Most or all folks that installed the '15-'17 units used the Whipple tune with stock exhaust manifolds had dyno numbers that met or exceeded Whipple's numbers. We are early into the product development phase of the 2018 unit. Its a little early to draw conclusions, when Roush hasn't even offered anything more then a press release that they are making a unit.

Not shilling at all, just enthused ..I do have one ordered for my new truck that I will be taking delivery of tomorrow.
By using the word "we" I was referring myself and several forum members that have been waiting since late last year for Whipple to release the 2018 version.
Most of my enthusiasm is based on this thread by Jmeo and EngineerMike's and their passion for the product.
Read through the whole thread and tell me you wouldn't be enthused too.
If things go bad, I'll be first to post a complaint. I've already posted a few things critical of Whipple, but I do believe "THEIR" product is closer to being a reality then the competition's.

Hints for you 2018 guys. If they send you PN DV2A-9F479-BC it can be swapped with PN BV6Z-9F479-A and use the OEM plug instead of Whipples extension harness. The problem with the harness, and likely my issue, is the the sensor end of their harness can be plugged in either way. One way it locks, 180* turned it still seats and feels like it locks. It’s very possible mine was backwards but I swapped sensors anyway. You also won’t need the extension for the TB...I have a couple of inches of slack with mine. And if you use the big TB get some way to check the TPS voltage. If you get a wrench light on start up it needs to be adjusted. Whipple kindly left that info out of my instructions...ID sent me a PDF of it. I did have the wrench light so it needed tweaking.

Follow up on the relay issue...it gets power and ground from the passenger side IMRC plug. At the relay I was getting .5v on the ground terminal. Hard wired the ground to the battery and solved the problem.
Like I’ve said before...these kits aren’t as plug-and-play as they should be.
