2018 5.0 f150 knock on tip in
I have a 2018 f150 4x4 with the 5.0. My wife usually drives the truck so I am just now discovering this issue. when I am driving down the road and have to let off the throttle the ease back into it there is brief pre-ignition in the engine. It sounds like if you had a stick shift and were in too high of a gear. I recently put my Omega tune on it with the MPVI2. This has made the issue more common and more pronounced. Has anyone else had this issue? I have not spoken to Ken yet about it, but I did mix in 5 gal of 93oct and a bottle of Lucas octane boost in with my tank of 89oct. Hopefully that will help for now. Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

The omega should see the knock and adjust the timing for you.
make sure your truck is set to per cylinder knock detection.

Edit: you have a mpvi2, so poll in the hptuners scanner and add knock by cylinder for all 8
The 2018+ 5.0s have 4 knock sensors and can use this type of detection (they do stock)

In the scanner, just add channel and type in knock.
all of the knock pids will show up, select all 8 cylinders
