Default I don’t follow....

I’m not sure I understand? Were you avoiding excess gear changes or something else?( 3.73’s would deliver ~14% more launch torque, with slightly lower loading on the rest of the components excluding the axles.)
I found that something as small as a 5% final drive (using smaller tires) makes a huge difference in both feel and launch, particularly with only 6 speeds.
That said, my 2018 is porky pig with the 157” wheelbase, and a few heavy options.

3:73’s and the 10 speed with a PD blower is just too low in the first couple of gears. Lower isn’t always better. Look at dorian’s truck, 11.1 with 3:31’s. With 3:73’s he’d play hell getting it to launch.

thats the ticket, I did the math on the 3.31s and that’s what I chose

Default Interesting

I’m curious how my 2018 would react to 100shot and a tune with the short gears. Might cause some breakage too.

Any other real world review of this tune

very interested in what effect less than e85 would have. I dont know what fuel sources I can trust only a couple of places in east or north dfw to get it and unsure of quality of e85.
Is it that much seat of the pants difference over performance 87 tune?

Anything 50 percent or higher ethanol content will yiely almost identical results. So you can put in pump e85 and not worry.
