I run water wetter in my radiator and HE. Can’t tell you honestly if it’s made a difference or not. I ran it in my last truck and most of my race cars. The electric fan I know for a fact was a help

Well in the last couple weeks I sold this kit and have shipped it to its new owner in California. It's good news and sad news at the same time. I am going to miss having my supercharged F150 even with the F250 diesel I replaced it with, thats for sure.
It's going to a great guy named Fredy and he lives near a desert where he plans to let it eat so that makes me happy.
Guess my 2017 Whippled Mustang is gonna have to fill the void lol. Just two days ago I upgraded to the G3 blower and it put down 777 rwhp and 595 rwtq on the Whipple tune. Not too shabby

Going back to the shop Wednesday to get the actual difference from swapping the G2 top to the G3 top with everything else being the exact same. Last pull I had a month ago was with a whole bottle of Boostane in the tank and this time I only had 10oz (what I run on a daily basis) and the car made 3º less timing.
Typically 1º of timing is 10-12 hp so less 3º = 30-36 hp loss
That said even with less timing being added it made 12 more rwhp so I expect with apples to apples pulls would have net roughly 48 more rwhp just switching to the G3 top. I will find out on Wednesday.
This also proved two things;
One, 10oz of Boostane works perfect keeping the knock sensor happy and let me drop down a pulley size. Typically on the mustang you can only run a 3.625" pulley on 93 pump gas. The 10oz let me drop to 3.50" pulley and the logs showed the car kept 18º timing in the high RPM and never saw knock or pulled timing.
Two, using the whole bottle (32oz) does indeed work to increase octane as it showed 3º less
Oh, I highly recommend running Boostane in your trucks as well. Myself and Whipple did testing and it without a doubt keeps knock away and can even make more hp if thats what your after. I just want the piece of mind keeping knock away thats why I only run 10oz. if anyone is interested use online BOOSTANG code to save 15%. I recommend their "Professional" version.

I know you didn't ask me....but the cars run the 3.625 pulley on 93 and the whipple tune, any smaller and they need octane booster. Same with the trucks trucks except one size smaller due to lower compression.
