18 4x4 5.0l boost options
So im picking up a 5.0l sxt 18 in a month to build a street truck. I've already done a ton of research but keep running into a couple questions that nobody seems to have answers to. I've emailed lethal, and whipple with no prevail.
Since the f150 whipple kit is only offered in a 6 rib configuration has anybody done the conversion to the 10rib 18 mustang kit with the updated fluid balancer? I have found 1 article about a 16 f150 doing it and they had to use a custom alternator pulley from a gmc.
Are you guys having issues when you drop pulleys with belt slippage? I'm kinda leaning towards the d1x since it atleast comes with an 8rib, but I think the whipple will be better for street use.
plans are:
1001hk belltech kit
stainless works headers with x and dual catback
whipple/d1x
1050id, dw400
catch can
Opgs
That should get me around 700 on 93oct, and 800 on e85 from the couple of f150 dynos I've seen. I haven't seen anybody running the procharger though, mainly just mustang's. I know they have different intakes and intake cams, any other reasons their dynos couldn't be comparable to the f150s?

The guys running in the 9s and 10s are using the 6 rib setups.

Ok so this setup should be decent. Anything I should change or specifically look into?
stainless works headers with x and dual catback
whipple gen 4
1050id, dw400
catch can
Opgs
I've been keeping up with y'all's dw400 discussion. Seems like waiting for fore to come out with a kit is the next step after dw400 or sai li kit.
is it worth doing the gt cam while they are doing the opgs? And is the 150mm throttle body worth the upgrade?

As far as the fuel system goes, a guy on the High Performance 5.0 group on facebook just put dual 450's in a GT350 module and it looks like it's going to work. The sai kit is way overpriced IMO.

You should be able to run that 6-rib Whipple without issue is installed correctly. A belt upgrade is another thing to have for Piece of mine. A Gates HD or RPM belt will help you in that department as well if you are worried about it. The Procharger is also very capable. If you have any questions please feel free to PM us. We are both Whipple Distributors and Procharger Distributors, aside from hundreds of other brands.

Someone in our ecoboost group has also managed to install a hellcat 525 lph pump as well. So that also seems to be a possibility. Requires much more tweaking in the tune to not run massive amounts of fuel pressure than the dw400 pump though.
