17 3.5 Screw 12.65 @ 111 mph

I try to explain this but then the 5.0 guys get butthurt. if your only doing some simple mods and not willing to drop 9k on a supercharger, its extremely hard to beat an ecoboost. This is where I am at.

Not hard to beat an Ecoboost at all. Stock 2018 RCSB 5.0 will beat any stock Ecoboost truck.

I just realized he was doing 2.0+ second 60' and still running a 12.65. That is nuts. Easy low 12s if that time came down a bit.
Just couldnt help yourself.
First of all, I said a tune and mild mods. Not stock.
Second, I(and most other people it seems) need/want a crew cab with 4x4. Most of us dont want/cant live with an 2x4 RSCB. Any truck that I(and most other people it seems) buy will be faster with an Ecoboost on a tune only or mild bolt on build. I drive a crew cab 6.5' bed and dont care what an RCSB can do, I care what a crew cab 6.5' can do. I also plan on never modding beyond a tune and possibly an intercooler since my truck is meant to haul my family and tow a trailer.
Beating this 5.0 RSCB horse is like saying the 5.0 is better than the ecoboost because the 2018 mustang is faster. Two totally different vehicles and its just silly.
Its great that they are that quick, I am glad, but I just dont care what any RCSB can do.

Any engine in a single cab setup will be faster than the exact same engine in a supercrew setup, due to weight. Single cabs will always have more potential to be faster. So when you post up single cab timeslips, it’s apples to orange to compare thrm to a super crew setup.

RCSB can tow, sure. But who you totin' around with you, and at the mpg penalty you wouldn't see in a car...............jus sayin'.
