I heard from numerous body guys around my way that u can't powdercoat over chrome. It'll fail

You have to blast it before you do it. They blast everything before they coat

This is funny. I didn't realize that you posted this awhile ago. I probably would have reached out to you sooner if I'd remembered this thread...

Lol, you can indeed powdercoat over chrome. I know because I have done it. When you have translucent powders, you HAVE to powder coat over chrome to get the desired effect. Ive done this with metal door handles, valve covers, various other body parts as well as calipers.... Just saying it can be done,and if done correctly the finish will not fail.
