WTB: chrome belt moldings beneath windows

Hopefully someone is looking to switch over to a blacked out look and removing their chrome belt molding pieces.

I am in search of the chrome trimmed belt molding pieces that go underneath each of the 4 windows. Brand new these effing things are $350! I have been calling and emailing junkyards that have wrecked trucks with the chrome molding pieces, but no junkyard is stripping the doors. They are all just selling the doors whole... impossible to find these things unless they are new or someone is voluntarily taking them off their truck.

I bought the Putco moldings new for my Lariat Screw, I think they were about $160 for the set of four last year. Installs with 3m tape, looks great, no problems with them. Just a suggestion.

Ford has chrome overlays available as an accessory. Check out accessories.ford.com

Do you have black ones to trade or just looking for chrome?

I'd swap, I have just started looking for options for blacking out and have about decided to have my stuff wrapped. If you have black ones and want to trade let me know. I'd just be one thing less I'd have to wrap.

PM if you want to know that bad :tt2:

Sorry, I couldn't resist...I'm in the Dallas area. The bigger question for me is how do I remove them without breaking them? I looked on you tube and didn't find anything for our model year.

Can you post some close-up pics of these? I might be interested in going this route, but would like to see a bunch of close up pictures to determine if I like the way they look or not.

Also, can you comment on the quality of the material and the chrome finish?
