Hi, sent you an email - looking to upgrade my 2018 XL 4" SYNC to 8" SYNC 3. Thanx a bunch!

 

I have been really trying to communicate with Marcus regarding system functionality etc - seems his responses are sporadic. I did order a system this past weekend. Still waiting to hear from him via email - no phone number can be found...

 

Received my "kit" yesterday. There were no instructions included. I emailed Marcus twice asking about it - no reply. Guess I'm on my own - didn't anticipate this - hope the hardware works...

 

He sent my instructions via email separately. I don't have that email anymore otherw8se 8d forward it

 

Thank you. I received an email from him today - had the 4D Tech link - and a link to the FORScan tutorial on this site. Is supposed to follow up with the FORScan instructions and that will be how to set up the truck after the install...

 

I received my kit and it was plug and play no FORScan update required. Took about an hour to install. Everything works great and am very happy with the upgrade.

I also bought a Bluetooth adapter: so now I don't need to hardwire the phone...

Recommend for those needing/wanting the 4" to 8" SYNC 3 capability to go with Watson Tech!

 

just ordered a kit. How many days does it typically take to receive it from the day that it is ordered? Only asking because I don't recall seeing an estimated delivery date.

 

Marcus says it takes a couple weeks to gather the parts...mine took just about two weeks...

Communication is thru emails - may take some time to get a reply so you must be patient...
